Q1: What are system requirements for running ImTOO Audio Converter Pro?
A:Here are the minimum requirements to run the software:
- Microsoft® Windows XP (SP2 or later), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10

- 512MB or above RAM
- 100MB available disk space for installation
- Super VGA (800×600) resolution, 16-bit graphics card or higher

Q2: Where do I download ImTOO Audio Converter Pro?
Q3: I have gotten my license code and howto register?
A: First please run the program and click ‘Help > Enter License Code…’ option to open ‘Registration’ window. Then copy and paste your license code and user name in corresponding text boxes to register.
Q4: How to get started with ImTOO Audio Converter Pro?
A: The software contains three audio tools: audio converter, CD Converter and CD burner. Please follow the instructions below to convert your music, convert CD and burn music CD with ease.
To convert audio file
1. Run the program and the default interface is ‘Convert’ tab.
2. Click ‘Profile’ down arrow to select an output format.
3. Click ‘Add File(s)’ button to load video and audio files into the file list.
4. Click ‘Convert Checked Item(s)’ button to start your audio converting.
To convert CD
1. Run the program and click ‘Convert CD’ tab to open ‘Convert CD’ tab.
2. Click ‘Profile’ down arrow to select an output format.
3. Click ‘Load Audio CD’ button to load CD
4. Click ‘Convert Checked Item(s)’ button to start your CD converting.
To burn CD
1. Run the program and click ‘Burn CD’ tab to open ‘Burn CD’ tab.
2. Click ‘Profile’ down arrow to select an output format.
3. Click ‘Add File(s)’ button to load audio files.
4. Check output file size on the capacity barand ensure the proper output size.
5. Click ‘Burn’ button to start your CD burning.
Q5: I love the music in my movie and I’d like to play it on my MP3. Can ImTOO Audio Converter Pro help me?
A: Yes. The ‘Convert’ part can help you solve this problem. Besides converting audio to audio, it also serves as a video to audio converter, which can extract audio track from the video file and output it with the needed audio format.
To extract music from video
1. Select ‘MP3’ from the ‘Profile’ dropdown list.
2. Click ‘Add File(s)’ to load your movies into the list.
3. Click ‘Convert Checked Item(s)’ button to start the video to audio converting.
Q6: I just want a part of the loaded music and how to do it?
A: The Clip function will help you do this job. After load files, please
1. Highlight the file you want to clip and click ‘Clip’ button to enter ‘Clip’ window.
2. Clip ‘Play’ button and use ‘Set Start Point’ and ‘Set End Point’ buttons to set the start and end point of the segment you want.
3. Click ‘New Clip’ button and repeat step ‘2’ to get more segments.
4. If you need, please use the ‘Move up/Move down’ to adjust the sequence of the segments in the segment list.
5. After the above settings, click ‘Apply’ and ‘Close’ button to apply all the settings and retune to the main window. The clipped segments will be added below the source file in the list.
You can also directly enter correct values for ‘Start Time’ and ‘Length’ options on the 'Advanced Profile Settings' to clip a needed part.
Q7: Can I apply some effects to the output audio when converting audio or converting CD to audio file?
A: Yes. The ‘Effects’ function is offered in‘Convert’ and ‘Convert CD’ parts.Before converting or converting, you can edit audio effects for the output file. To do this, please highlight the file you want to edit and click ‘Effects’ button to open the ‘Effect’ window. Then, check ‘Fade In/Out’, 'Normalize’, 'Band Pass’, 'Chorus’, 'Flanger’ and ‘Echo’ option on the left and edit the details on the right. You can drag the sliders or directly type the values into the textboxes.
After all the settings are done, click ‘Apply’ and go back to the main window.
Q8: What can I do with ‘Add Output Profile’ button in ‘Convert’ and ‘Convert CD’ parts?
A: The ‘Add Output Profile’ button provided in ‘Convert’ and ‘Convert CD’ parts can help you convert one file and output to several audios with different formats, configurations or size at the same time. It will be activated after you highlight the loaded file you want to convert. After clicking it, a new profile item is added below the file and the profile list pops up. You just need to select the needed one for it.
Q9: How should I do to check the loaded file's information in the program?
A: Please right click the file and select ‘Properties’ option. Then you can get the information of the file, such as Bit Rate, Frame Rate and others in the following dialog.
Q10: Where are the other settings like audio quality and channels appeared on the right of the main interface in the previous versions?
A: On the top right, beside the item ‘Basic Settings’, there is a button called ‘Show Advanced Profile Settings’. An extendable panel will show other settings after clicking it. You can set audio Bit Rate and Sample Rate, as well as other items there.
Q11: Can I edit the ID3 Tag information for the output music in ‘Convert’ and ‘Convert CD’ parts?
A: If you select WMA and MP3 as output formats, you can edit the Tag information for the files. All the items of Tag information are also in the ‘Advanced Profile Settings’.
Q12: How can I modify the settings on the right panel for my audio converting/CD converting/CD burning?
A: Before you modify anything, you must highlight the file. Besides the values we have offered, you can simply enter a number you want for the conversion of most output formats, such as audio Bit Rate, Sample Rate. Sometimes, it would be limited by the output format and other conditions.
Q13: Is it possible to save the profile with the modified settings as a new one for use next time?
A: It can be done by the ‘Save As’ button. After you finish the modifications, please click this button and finish the job following instruction. After the profile is created, you can delete or re-name it as you like.
Q14: Is it possible to get a clip/segment of the loaded file?
A: Yes. You need set ‘Start Time’ and ‘Length’ to get the clip you want. It is on the ‘Advanced Profile Settings’ panel. First of all, you should highlight your audio file in the program. And then enter correct values for ‘Start Time’ and ‘Length’, which can be found on the right panel of the interface. For example, if you want the first 3-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter ‘00:00:00’ for ‘Start Time’ and ‘00:03:00’ for length.
Q15: In ‘Convert CD’ tab, I notice there is a button titled ‘Retrieve CDDB Info’ on the toolbar. Can I get the CD’s details from CDDB online?
A: Yes. Using this button, the program will retrieve your CD’s information from the Internet and enrich your CD library with details including name, author, copyright, year and so on.BTW, this CD Converter automatically gets disc info when you load disc. And if you don’t need this function, please uncheck the option ‘Automatically get disc info when loading disc’ in ‘Tools > Preferences > Others’ window.
Q16: How to customize the output CD name?
A: You can enter the name of the output CD into the ‘File Name’ textbox on the top right. What you entered will be the name of the CD after burning.
Q17: Can I customize the columns to be displayed in the file list when converting CD?
A: Yes, you can customize the columns to be displayed in the file list and remove the odd ones according to your need. Please select ‘View > Select Column(s)’ option to enter ‘Select Columns’ dialog, and check the columns you want to display in the file list, then click ‘OK’ button to return to the main window. In the dialog, use ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons to adjust the display order of the columns.
